I write in reply to John Morris, who writes about Sunday trading (Letters, April 8).

He may not have a faith but he does have a mind and body that need a time for recreation. There is no need for this seven day a week shopping.

If you manage your time you can do all your shopping in six days and use the seventh for relaxation – it would give shop staff a rest, too.

Why not take the family out to look at the wonders of nature – the seashore, the woods and fields, the wildlife. Explore the South Downs and come home feelling refreshed and invigorated for the week ahead. But remember that it was God who created these wonders.
