A man's body was found in the Ashdown Forest.
The body was discovered in woodland off Colemans Hatch Road, just before 5pm yesterday.
Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "The East Sussex Coroner has confirmed that the body of the man was found in woodland off Colemans Hatch Road, Ashdown Forest, on Saturday afternoon.
"Police are not treating it as suspicious. The man has not yet been identified, but inquiries are continuing to eastablish his identity."
A post mortem is expected to be carried out in the next week.
