I would like to express my thanks to the prospective parliamentary candidates for Brighton Kemptown who attended the “Ask the Climate Question” hustings on April 8.
Kemp Town’s environmental concerns generated a lively and informative debate.
However, many of the audience were puzzled as to why Conservative candidate Simon Kirby decided not to attend the event or send a representative.
It was a missed opportunity to engage on an important topic.
