Armed police used a stun gun to restrain a man after he threatened to shoot someone.
Sussex Police officers were called to an address in Ford Road, Ford, near Arundel, just after 7pm yesterday, to reports of an armed man.
The force’s helicopter was also scrambled.
A man was restrained at the scene by firearms officers using a Taser stun gun.
No shots were fired during the incident and no injuries were sustained by the victims.
Two legally-held shot guns were seized by police at the scene.
Police arrested a 48-year-old man on suspicion of making threats to kill.
