A mystery lottery winner has only one month left to claim a life-changing jackpot.

The National Lottery is searching for the owner of the winning ticket that was bought on November 25 in the Hastings and Bexhill area.

A lottery spokesman has urged players to check their tickets as the winner, who matched all six numbers, stands to collect £850,513.

The lucky ticket-holder has until 5.30pm on Monday, May 24 to make their claim.

The winning numbers from the November draw were 3, 6, 11, 17, 23, 29 and the bonus ball was 44.

The spokesman said: “Time really is running out for the winner of this jackpot prize, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the last minute to claim the money.

“We're urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing Lotto ticket could be hiding. This life-changing prize could really help to make dreams become a reality for someone out there.”

In November the owner of £3.2 million jackpot ticket bought in Worthing came forward after an appeal in The Argus.

If no one claims the prize by the deadline then the money and the interest it has generated will to the Lottery Good Causes - adding to the £24 billion already raised through sales of lottery tickets since The National Lottery launched in November 1994.

Anyone who believes they have the golden ticket should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 9100000.
