This brilliant cabaret-come-circus creates a believable underworld of talented sinners that didn’t make it to heaven, so have refined a selection of bizarre skills in hell.

Rather than just being a straightforward, old fashioned "freakshow" of extraordinary stunts – where you just wow and clap your way through an hour - this collective pull off really good theatre and stand-up comedy as well.

There is the failed children’s entertainer Piff The Magic Dragon who once killed a crowd of wide-eyed youngsters with his fire show, and a crack-cocaine addicted banker from Surrey. Both create hilarious comic characters and sing clever pop parodies.

Alongside this are still the old-fashioned feats of human strength and technique that circus is here for – beautiful aerial double acts, a male pole dancer who seems to defy gravity, and hula hooping that proves it is actually an amazing skill and not just something you did in the playground when you were seven.

Get there early and bag yourself a front-row table with a bottle of wine, this is certainly worth it.
