Like many people in Brighton and Hove I am very tempted to switch to vote for Caroline Lucas and the Green Party. However, they need to convince people that they are not as deluded as the other parties about the state of public finances and the economy. It is simply not possible to continue to fund the NHS and education in the same way as we are now, and re-nationalise the railways, while the public sector deficit stands at a £117 billion.

So what would the Greens do with the hole in public finances? I hope they would reform the public sector.

So, Green Party tell us what you would responsibly do so the UK does not end up being the economic basket case the Greece has become. There is a real risk right now that the world will penalise any British government that does not act responsibly and this includes telling the electorate the truth.
