A General Election polling station has been closed after the building's ceiling was damaged.
Brighton and Hove City Council is asking voters due to head to Essex Place, Brighton to go to Somerset Point.
No-one was hurt in the incident, which is believed to have been caused by ongoing building work.
A spokesman for the council confirmed the area has been sealed off.
