Two people have been taken to hospital following a rush hour road accident.
A Ford Mondeo and a Vauxhall Corsa collided on the south bound A23 near Pyecombe.
Police, ambulance and fire crews all attended the scene at around 5.30pm this afternoon.
All people involved in the accident were able to free themselves from their cars unaided.
