A property developer shared space with some of the world’s biggest companies at the weekend’s British Grand Prix.

Silver Homes, based in Crowborough, won the unique opportunity to have its name displayed on Lewis Hamilton’s F1 car in a competition organised by team sponsor Vodafone.

In addition to gaining exposure in front of millions of television viewers worldwide, Samantha Hadden and Daniel Berwick, two die-hard F1 fans who work for the firm, were invited to the race itself and were given a tour of the McLaren Mercedes’ paddock by Hamilton himself.

Samantha described the experience as “the best time of my life”. The prize was part of a promotion for the Vodafone company’s new VIP reward scheme.

Silver Homes was picked at random from the thousands of SMEs that entered.
