A 14-year old boy has been injured following a collision between a motor cycle and a car.
The child was riding as pillion passenger on a motor cycle when it collided with a Ford Focus saloon, on the seafront A259 Grand Junction Road opposite the Grosvenor Casino, Brighton, at around 8.15pm last night.
The boy, from Burgess Hill, received serious knee and wrist injuries and was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital.
The motorcycle rider, a 43-year old Peacehaven man, was also taken to hospital with a serious shoulder injury.
The driver of the car, a 32-year old Seaford man, and his three passengers, were unhurt.
The Sussex Police Road Policing Unit at Hove are appealing for anyone who saw the collision to contact them via 0846 60 70 999 quoting Serial 1720 of 9 August.
