A man has been critically injured after being assaulted outside a social club.
The 30-year-old Polish man suffered serious head injuries during the incident outside the Centaur Social Club in Martyrs Avenue, Langley Green, Crawley.
Police were called to a disturbance at the club entrance at 11.20pm yesterday.
The man, who is believed to be from the Crawley area, is being treated at a London hospital after being transferred from the East Surrey Hospital.
Four people were arrested for public order offences and assault.
Police are urgently appealing for any witnesses to contact them on 0845 6070999 quoting Operation Seabrook or serial 1926 of 12/8/10.
