The mother of hero Guardsman Jamie Janes is continuing her fight to help soldiers who suffer from a condition branded the unseen injury.
Jacqui Janes joined a walk by servicemen trying to help colleagues who suffer from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a result of their service.
Mrs Janes, 46, of Flint Close, Portslade, walked from Portlsade to Brighton with 15 members of Veteran International Aid.
Their march from Lands End to Dover passed through Brighton on Saturday and is due to end today.
Jamie Janes, 20, died after stepping on an explosive device as he tried to pull a friend from a river while serving in Afghanistan.
Mrs Janes said her son was suffering from PTSD when he returned home on leave before his death.
