Tourism is booming in an East Sussex resort after record numbers used its visitor information centre.
More than 36,300 visitors passed through the doors of Eastbourne Tourist Information Centre in July – a 25% increase on last year.
The town’s official tourism website VisitEastbourne.com also received a record 980,000 hits in July with online bookings for hotel rooms rising by 30%.
