With a top speed of 100mph it is the Formula 1 of wheelchairs.
But for father-of-two Eddie Thomas the machine that he says he loves like a woman, is a lifeline as well as a mode-of-transport.
Mr Thomas, 66, of West Road, Fishergate, said he was devastated when he realised the onset of multiple sclerosis would prevent him from safely managing his motorbike’s pedals.
Instead of giving in to the neurological condition he came across a showroom piece on the internet which allowed a wheelchair to be slotted into an expanded motorbike bike and travel at speeds of up to 100mph.
