Alan Neal writes: "I am trying to tracea lady who lived in your area between about 1948 and 1950 and I wondered if any of your readers might be able to help.

"Megan Davenport came originally from Market Drayton in Shropshire.

In 1948 and 1949 she worked at St Dunstan's home in Rottingdean under the guidance of a Mrs Conner (the housekeeper).

"She had a friend there called Miss Rogers and among her other friends was a Raymond Johns, a slaughterman, of 13 Over Street, Brighton.

"Some time in 1950, Miss Davenport moved to North Audley Street in Mayfair, London. She was born in 1928 so would now be about 78 years old."
