An 18-year-old youth has gone missing.

Chen Xin Zhang, who lives in care in Littlehampton, was last seen on January 5 and has not been seen since.

He is described as 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build, clean shaven and with black shoulder length hair.

Sergeant Roy Hodder said: “We don't necessarily think that Chen has come to any harm, but we are anxious to hear from him so we can satisfy ourselves that he is safe.

“He has not been known to go missing like this before, which is why there is some concern about his welfare. If anyone knows of his whereabouts then we would ask them to contact police as soon as possible on 0845 60 70 999.”
