Whatever happend to the idea of building an ice rink at Brighton Marina, near Asda?
My two daughters and their friends go down to the rink set up for Holiday On Ice at the Brighton Centre every year.
They enjoy it so much they went to the Pavilion this year and said it was great fun.
I met a lovely lady called Patricia Scanlon ten years ago at the ice rink at the Brighton Centre, who started a petition called “Get Your Skates On” to ask Brighton and Hove City Council to build an ice rink.
It attracted hundreds of signatures. Will there ever be an ice rink in Brighton again? Our kids need somewhere new and exciting to go and have fun (and keep them off the streets).
