My neighbours and I are very concerned about the water level in Queens Park pond and are desperate not to lose our wildlife.
The children love the ducks and geese and we understand ponds can be filled despite the drought order.
Our park is important for children's quiet activities. I work with children at a nursery, so know the importance of keeping the pond and wild life secure and safe. It's one of their favourite pleasures.
We've lost the bowling green, which set the standard of the park. Keeping what's left has become our aim, for the naturalness of our park is its beauty.
Please hear our plea and fill our pond.
