I am extremely anxious about the pond in Queens Park and do not want to lose the wonderful pleasure the ducks and geese gives the children.
The natural aspects of the park should be protected. As a retired teacher with a wonderful family, I have seen the therapeutic value the pond's wildlife has for all ages.
Parents who spend time talking to their children about wildlife and taking them to enjoy the pond will bring up calmer, kinder, more thoughtful children.
So I join in the plea to save our pond and keep the park natural.
