On behalf of Brighton and Hove Older People's Council (OPC), I wonder if anyone can tell me if there is any financial help available to older people to meet the cost of veterinary care for their pets?
The OPC is only too well aware how important pets are to older people and are concerned veterinary treatment may impose a considerable financial burden on them.
I know the PDSA and RSPCA will help in many cases but I should like to hear from any older readers who have experienced difficulty in meeting vets' bills.
