Your report of the rally for peace (The Argus, August 21) mentions a small contingent of Christians demonstrating in defence of Israel.
I have recently returned from a visit to Palestine where I saw many Christians suffering.
I would have thought Christians in Britain would have been demonstrating in favour of their fellow believers in Palestine and Lebanon, rather than supporting their cruel oppressor, the Israeli state.
