Police are appealing for information about a missing man.
John Waterfall was last seen by his wife at 2pm on Tuesday, August 22) at their home, in South Bank, Hassocks.
The 58-year-old is said to know the local area well. His family describe him as being physically fit and his hobbies include cycling and Thai Chi. His family believe he has taken his bike with him.
Mr Waterfall is 6ft tall, about 12 stone in weight, of a slim build, with short straight light brown hair and blue/green eyes.
He is thought to be wearing a bottle green shirt, white vest top, dark trousers and a dark waterproof or windproof jacket.
His bike is described as a dark grey Ridgeback Meteor leisure bike, with distinctive handlebars.
Sgt Jan Lavis said: "John's family are naturally concerned about his disappearance and are appealing to anybody who knows John and who may have seen him in the last two days, or anyone else who may have any information, to contact police on 0845 60 70 999, quoting serial 1717 of August 22."
