We are told the Hanbury Arms is set to become - tautologically - a "members' club". Will this happen, and how successful is such a set-up likely to be?
The old Music Library, opposite the Dome, was supposed to become a "media club" but all we ever saw was an increasingly forlorn poster in its window - and now the place is to become yet another restaurant.
I suspect Hove and Brighton people are too convivial to have need of such "members' clubs".
