I live on the Bates Estate and can see and hear the waste disposal centre at the bottom of Moulsecoomb Way in operation from all my front windows.

I have seen the traffic congestion caused by the colossal vehicles coming and going on many occasions - they regularly block the entire road.

I cannot understand why the east side of Moulsecoomb Way, outside the waste centre, has not been painted with double-yellow lines, as it does not help matters that other vehicles are constantly parked there.

I have experienced some nearmisses myself while driving up Moulsecoomb Way.

A good percentage of the people living close to this centre own their own property. Should we have to look out of our windows every day and see a waste dump?

I would hate to think somewhere out there is a child who won't become a teenager through such irresponsible planning.
