Des Turner's outburst to a council official was obviously daft given his position but I'm sure he's not the first nor the last person to be driven to this by Brighton and Hove City Council.
However, I can't help feeling that, as he is the Deghayes family's MP, such strong verbal persuasion would be better used to get his own Government to request the US to release Omar Deghayes back to his home and family in Brighton.
He should be doing all he can on this issue - not least to give himself the remotest chance of re-election.
