Whoever thought that Rottingdean was a quite tranquil place where nothing much happened better start thinking again. Many more things are now happening in the village including this Saturday when Rottingdean will be rocking to sounds coming from a cafe just off the village high Street.
These will be coming from the Artist Open Gallery Cafe in Neville Road. The cafe was started a few years ago by local artists who, as well as serving excellent food and drinks, exhibit work by themselves and other artists. They also hold regular events in Café to raise money and this Saturday evening there will be a musical event entitled Rottingdean Rocks. Amie Harman, one of the artist involved with the cafe, said “it will be an event for the whole family with music for all tastes “.
Tickets will cost five pounds and are free for children, this includes food and drinks. They are available from the cafe on 07826074610
