Detectives want to speak to one of Sussex's most wanted men over the murder of missing father Gary Hampson.
Police searching for Mr Hampson, 42, are trying to trace Danny Alexander, who is a suspect in three robberies.
Mr Hampson, who has not been seen since early January, ran the Kop Cars garage in Little Western Street, Brighton, with Mr Alexander.
Detectives launched a murder inquiry this month after finding Mr Hampson's blood in the garage two days after he failed to contact his daughter on her birthday.
Mr Hampson, of Old Shoreham Road, Portslade, was last seen dropping his ten-year-old daughter off at her home in Brighton on January 6, saying he was going to see family in Liverpool.
Three days later his phone was switched off and there has been no use of his bank cards.
Mr Alexander was named last week as a suspect for a raid where a shopkeeper was attacked in Norfolk Terrace, Brighton in January.
He has also been linked to a raid in Warleigh Road on January 19 and a street robbery in Sussex Square.
