A driver and his passenger had to be dragged from their Porsche 911 after spinning off a road.
The driver lost control along the Eastbourne Road at Westham, near Pevensey, at 5.40pm on Saturday.
The car overturned several times before landing in a field.
The driver was airlifted to hospital after being helped from the car by emergency services and passers-by.
The passenger did not receive any serious injuries.
