Firefighters are battling a raging forest fire.
Eight pumps and five Land Rovers have been sent to Ashdown Forest near the A22 near Uckfield.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue were called at about 7pm today and thick, black smoke can be seen rising from the area.
Sussex Police said the wind is blowing the fire making it harder for crews to get it under control.
It is currently not known how the fire began.
Fire crews are hoping to get the blaze under control before it spreads to nearby roads or police have warned they will have to be closed.
Officers have also spoken to nearby residents warning they may have to leave if the fire gets even closer.
However so far only one car park has had to be evacuated.
