I AGREE with Mr Coles who wrote about over-population in Brighton and Hove (Letters, March 25 and April 8).
We have already overstretched our resources and have no room for hundreds, or even thousands, more to settle.
Concentrate on the inner areas of neighbouring places farther inland, although I expect that would upset the green welly brigade not wanting to overpopulate their comfortable existence.
It may come to the point when residents of Brighton and Hove feel priced out.
We have contributed many years to the growth of the city.
