WITH the current issues over air quality, why do some parked coaches on Madeira Drive persist in keeping their engines running all day with either no one or, perhaps, just the driver on board?
As well as being wasteful of fuel, it is noisy and generates additional carbon monoxide.
Perhaps a local bylaw requiring coach engines to be switched off when parked is required?
