A homeowner's garden caught alight yesterday.
Bark chippings which had been laid over the garden burst into flames after catching a spark from an ornamental lamp, a Roedean fighter said.
The blaze happened in Roedean Crescent in Brighton.
“No one was injured,” said the firefighter.
