A man was knocked unconscious in a street attack.
The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was attacked in Grand Parade, Brighton, at around 1.30pm today by two men in what Sussex Police believe was an attempted robbery.
The man was taken by ambulance from outside the University of Brighton’s art, design and humanities building and taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital.
A man was arrested shortly after the incident.
