Hundreds of pupils could have access to a brand new playground.
Davigdor Infant School in Somerhill Road, Hove, has applied to install an allweather play space in its grounds.
It comes after the school was expanded to include an extra 90 pupils and temporary classrooms were installed on playground areas.
The school’s proposal also includes an activity trail to keep children interested during their play time.
It has the backing of nearby Somerhill Junior School and comes after parents organised fundraising events for about two years.
