A series of fires were started in wheelie bins during a suspected arson attack.
Communal wheelie bins in Oxford Place and Gloucester Street, Brighton were both set alight in quick succession at around 1am last night.
The fire in Gloucester Street caused smoke damage to spread into a house of multiple occupancy nearby.
A third fire in a bin in Clarence Square, Brighton was reported later at 2am.
