A woman who died after falling from her car has been named.
Shelia Moger, 70, was driving a red Renault Modus car exiting an Asda petrol station where she lost control turning left at a roundabout.
She fell out of the car through the insecure driver's door, suffering a serious head injury and died about 1.20am yesterday at Eastbourne District Hospital.
The incident took place near The Crumbles retail park in Eastbourne at 10.20am on Friday.
Mrs Moger, of Shirley Church Road, Croydon, Surrey, was alone in the car at the time and the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
Sussex Police Roads Policing Unit is investigating the collision and appealing for witnesses.
Officers are particularly keen to talk to a blonde woman driving a black car who saw the incident.
Anyone with any information is urged to contact Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999.
