Firefighters doused the flames on a beach bonfire begun by partygoers’.
Crews from Brighton’s Preston Circus station were called to the stretch of shore outside Coalition nightclub about 3am this morning.
Guidance on the Brighton and Hove City Council website states beach fires are not allowed adding they have caused serious injuries in the past.
