Two elderly motorists have been seriously injured following a road crash.
A 66-year-old motorcycle rider from Hastings was airlifted to a London hospital after his bike collided with a VW Golf Estate driven by an 81-year-old London man.
The Golf driver was also airlifted to hospital following the collision in Marley Lane outside Battle at around 10.30am this morning.
The road was closed for several hours to allow the victims to be treated and the debris to be cleared from the road.
