BEING avid motorsport and car fans, my partner and I have always wanted to visit the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Upon looking at the prices of entry tickets, we were amazed at the prices for a one-day ticket: £53 for a Saturday or Sunday ticket, and if you want grandstand seats it’s an extra £41. That’s £94 each.
That’s more than the cost of a premier league football game.
I wonder why the festival charges these prices? In any case, we can’t afford to go, but it looks like a great day out.
