A yacht crashed into a fishing boat.
The collision occurred near Newhaven Harbour late on Monday afternoon, a Solent Coastguard spokesman said.
No one was injured.
He said: “A yacht crashed into a local fishing boat in Newhaven.
“It caused minor damage to the fishing boat which managed to get safely into Newhaven Harbour.
“The yacht then went to Brighton Marina.”
He said an “ongoing investigation” was occurring into the incident.
