COULD I please express my gratitude to the seafront residents facing on to Hove lawns for their patience and goodwill during the Paddle Round The Pier beach festival over the weekend of July 2 and 3.
Their good nature and understanding went a long way in helping my team of volunteers create another hassle-free record breaking “Paddle” weekend.
May I also take this opportunity to thank the myriad of helpers, volunteers and supporters from across the city who ensure it remains as one of our city’s annual events.
