An 80-year-old appeared in court yesterday charged with breaching an Asbo.
Edna Beck, of Tisbury Road, Hove, appeared in the dock at Brighton Magistrates’ Court, accused of breaking the conditions of the order less than a week after it was enforced.
Beck was given the interim order after behaving in an antisocial way to her neighbours for seven years, including being drunk, shouting, screaming “Heil Hitler” and goose-stepping in the style of the Nazis.
Grey-haired Beck who walks with a zimmer-frame was arrested by Sussex Police at about 1am on Tuesday morning and remanded in custody until yesterday’s hearing.
She has now been released on bail until a hearing on August 24, when her case could be referred to the crown court.
