TWO weeks ago, on July 1, I was privileged enough to attend Bridging The Gap at Portslade Village Centre.
This event was a celebration of intergenerational talent in Portslade arranged and hosted by Portslade Youth Forum.
They put together a fantastic programme of entertainment and raised £190 in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust through donations and a raffle.
Portslade Youth Forum aims to be a voice for young people in Portslade and break down generation barriers and perceptions.
They are an integral part of the Portslade Local Action Team and Portslade Community Forum and are actively involved in decision-making.
I am sure everyone who came along will agree that the young people involved are an absolute credit to Portslade and should be proud of themselves.
