Fences and hedges were set alight overnight in Burgess Hill today.
They were torched in Bridge Close, Windmill Drive, Mill Road, St Peter’s Road and Wyberlye Road.
The first call was at 1.35am and the last at 2.30am.
A West Sussex Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said: “We are not sure if they are connected but it is more than likely.”
