A broken down yacht drifted for three hours.
It was eventually towed in by the Eastbourne RNLI crew.
The yacht, which measured 10ft, set off from Rye at 1.40pm on yesterday. But en-route to Newhaven it suffered mechanical failure.
The crew called Dover Coastguard who contacted local crews.
A Dover spokesman said: “It suffered mechanical failure and after the weather changed it started drifting. It was pulled into Soveeign Harbour after 5.30pm.”
