Detectives hunting a sex attacker say they have received “no significant” leads following a Crimewatch appeal.
A picture of a man wanted in connection with two attempted rapes in Kemp Town was posted on the Crimewatch website on Tuesday.
H o w e v e r Sussex Police said they had received “nothing of any significance” after the appeal.
Officers are still appealing for witnesses following the two attacks.
A 26-year-old woman was dragged to the ground in Park Street on June 22 by a man who tried to rape her.
The attack only stopped after a passing cyclist heard her screams.
Four days later police believe the same man sexually assaulted a 36-year-old woman in Upper Rock Gardens.
The man police want to speak to is described as white, 5ft 6in to 5ft 8in and stocky and with a foreign accent.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Sussex Police on 0845 6070999 quoting Operation Plymouth or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
