Two people were seriously injured in a crash last night.
The collision took place on the A272 at Buxted, close to Uckfield.
Two vehicles collided at 10pm.
Fire crews from Uckfield and Crowborough, Sussex Police, the South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Sussex Air Ambulance attended the incident.
A Sussex Police spokesman said two people were seriously injured. A man was airlifted to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. Another person was taken to hospital by road.
An East Sussex Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said: “There were two adults trapped.
“One adult was released shortly after 11pm and the second adult, from a different vehicle, released at 12.10am on Saturday.”
