A motorcyclist who was airlifted to hospital after he collided with a car has died from his injuries.
The 19-year-old, from Pevensey Bay, was riding a Yamaha YBR 125 motorbike on the B2203 Theobalds Green in Heathfield at 4.14pm on Saturday when he crashed with a Kia Mentor car.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital but later died. The 24-year-old driver of the car was uninjured and is assisting police with their inquiries.
The police are keen to trace the driver of a blue car which was in the area at the time travelling south towards Horam.
