Thank you so much for highlighting the drivers who think they are above the law and use mobile phones while driving (The Argus, September 2).

I drive 120 miles most days, see large numbers of drivers flout this law constantly and have been driven into three times by drivers using mobile phones. While it was only at crawling speed, I do have ongoing lower back problems.

What also needs exposure is the number of lorry drivers who use their mobiles while driving.

Just this evening, a petrol tanker swerved as it approached me.

Yes, the driver was on his phone.
